Monte Espadan - Collection C. Kleiss
        Berthed at Villagarcía de Arosa, on the photo center to the right. By her aft was one of the "Valerianos" and by her bow the Rio Mero. The ship at anchor was the Tiran or the Meira.
        She was built on 1921 by Euskalduna for Sota y Aznar as Artiba-Mendi.
        When started the Civil War she was under republican control, trading between the United Kingdom and Spain until seized by the codfish fishing ship Galerna on 6/March/1937. She was returned back to Naviera Aznar on 1939, being renamed as Monte Espadan. She was scrapped on 1966.
